Hi there! My name is Henry; I grew up on a farm outside of Boston with goats, chickens, indoor/outdoor cats, and standard poodles, and still miss all of them terribly. SF has been my home for 3 years now, and I spend most of my free time cooking mediocre Thai food, and cycling both on and off trails. Most of my experience has been with reasonably energetic small and medium sized dogs, but for the last 6 months I helped to take care of my grandmother's 14 year old poodle, Darla, who was nearing the end of a long and happy life and required either a ramp or carrying up and down steps. I LOVE goofing around with energetic dogs who are happy to be outside, but am also mindful that the slower moving among us also deserve walks. Some other highlighted friends of mine: Xiaohua "Little Flower" - an 8 lb Bichon who used to hide under my bed and was mostly an apartment dog. Ivy, a 22 lb poodle-schnauzer mix who drags the first half of the walk and turns on "tow mode" the second half. Brady, a 45 lb white Shephard who is happiest sprinting after a slobbery, slobbery ball.
