Pet care experience
I love animals and have had dogs and cats as pets since I was born. I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 16. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, house sit, and care for their pets. I am committed to the wellbeing of animals and making sure they receive the best care, attention, and love possible. I also have experience being a doorman and taking care of residents pets throughout the buildings I work in.

Henry is wicked friendly, I am very glad that he agreed to be Tofu’s regular walker for the past few weeks. Henry is always quick to respond via text, and very detailed in his reports of Tofu’s walks. Henry also takes Tofu to play fetch in the park almost daily, which is a huge undertaking. Excellent rapport with dogs, prompt and friendly
Henry is very responsive to messages, and he cares about Lulu. I love how he attempts to teach Lulu (old dog) new tricks =) I am happy with his service.
Henry Mandel has frequently sat for my dog Scruffles for over two years. My dog, Scruffles, is always happy and excited to see Henry; he is very affectionate with Scruffles, always takes him on nice long walks, and plays with him at the park (depending on the weather). It is very hard for me to find a sitter for my Maltese because of his anxiety and aggressive attitude, but Henry is perfect with him and they get along very well. On other occasions, Henry has also pet-sat my turtle, Sunshine, and my kitten, Pebbles. Henry is always diligent and responsible when caring for Sunshine and Pebbles and has even helped me to raise Pebbles from kitten to adult cat. Henry has always cared for my pets with the love and kindness I’d show them. He is a delight with animals and an overall responsible, dependent, and caring person.

A typical day
I live five minutes away from the local park and can take dogs for hikes through the woods, to play and interact at the dog park, or just to stroll through the lawns and sit on a park bench by the Hudson River. In between walks, I’ll take dogs back to my apartment where they can eat, play with various dog toys, roam the apartment or sleep if they’re all tired out.

Availability
I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available all day Thursdays and Fridays, and Saturday afternoons after 3pm.
