Our chow chow Kiki is very wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. She does not take treats or pets from strangers unless she has built solid trust first. Helina is gentle, kind, and (most importantly) PATIENT with our pup. She makes sure to take things slowly at Kiki’s speed. When out on walks, she is diligent about holding the leash tightly (in case of any distractions) and makes sure that Kiki doesn’t eat/lick anything suspicious on the ground. Kiki has now become so comfortable with her that she will approach her willingly to play tug-o-war/fetch, and walk up to her just for some attention. Helina is not shy about asking questions, which tells me that she really cares. She responds to texts promptly and sends pictures/updates to us so we know our Kiki is safe and happy. I would recommend her for dog walking and pet sitting for all of your furry family members!
