Mi Casa, Su Casa!

Pet care experience

I have been a longtime animal lover and adopted my own dog over 7 years ago. I've also worked as a dog walker and at a doggie daycare and often care for my friend's pets. When they're with me, their parents can rest assured that their fur-babies are being well taken care of in a loving and comfortable home. When they're here, they're family. I trained my dog from puppyhood and am familiar with the needs of all ages of dogs. Ellie was crate trained, and I'm happy to maintain your regimen if your pup is used to a crate. With my own shy, quirky dog, I am extra attentive to our environment when we're out on walks or interacting with other people/animals. If your dog has quirks of his/her own, please let me know in advance so I can be sure to accommodate them. My dog-loving boyfriend and I live on a quiet street in Medford, just blocks away from several beautiful parks. I also have a car to take pups to more secluded areas to exercise your dog if s/he prefers. I work full-time but have a dog walker for my pup. Yours would be walked with mine midday and only alone for up to 4-5 hours at a time and no more than 8 total in a day. Because I live in an apartment, I cannot accept dogs who bark excessively. As a behavioral precaution, I am also unable to care for un-neutered/spayed dogs in my home. **Please note, I am selective about the dogs I accept in my home to ensure the safety and comfort of my own dog as well as yours. If there is any doubt about whether or not your dog will be comfortable here, I will be honest about it and let you know.**

Joey had a blast with Helia and Ellie and we had no doubt this would be the case! Helia takes care of visitors just like they are her own and goes out of her way to accommodate dog and owner needs. Being away for a long wedding weekend, we had total peace of mind about our puppy.

Helia was a wonderful host to our Brunswick. She sent photos of him (having a blast!) at the dog park and very clearly made the effort to make him comfortable and happy in her home. I highly recommend Helia!

Helia was great! Enzo came back to me super happy and having made friends, both human and dog. She kept me updated during his stay and was awesome with my high energy and somewhat anxious pup. I definitely highly recommend her & will book again!
