We are a couple in our 40s. We have been living in many different countries these last 15years. We have been volunteering in different human societies that protect animals and we are volunteers for relief work. We have construction skills therefore when ever we received a calling to go help in relief work after a natural disasters we go. This is why we had to make the difficult decision not to have pets on our own anymore, at least not now. It gives us more flexibility. For many years we did travel with our pets , they came along each time, our dogs, cats and parrot traveled by plane, train, boat and car with us fortunately as you can imagine it was very stressful both for them and for us to do that, it was also very costly and very very complicated so when our dogs and cats past away and after having made the heart breaking decision to put our parrot to adoption, we thought that not having pets anymore was the only way to continue to volunteer in different countries. However we miss having pets so much that doing pet sitting when ever possible help to deal with the situation. Also of course we have been fostering so many pets whenever we went and spent so much time caring for animals to the point of assisting vets in small surgeries especially for sterilization. Which is always the number one priority when you volunteer for a human society. Therefore be confident that we have a very good knowledge about animals and that we are fully devoted. We are french originally but speak English fluently and are getting along with spanish.
