Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs! I will give your dog TLC, attention and long walks through our tree lined neighborhood. Our house has a large fenced backyard with lots of space to roam. I am a retired registered nurse so your dog will get plenty of companionship from me and my husband. I am a veteran dog owner and will follow your instructions closely and communicate regularly with you. I recently lost my own beloved dog and am eager to care for yours in our home. I know how agonizing it can be to leave your dog with someone when you travel but I assure you he/she will be greatly entertained and cared for. I have a gentle and patient demeanor with dogs and I will treat your dog with all the love of a family member. I can't wait to take care of your dog! (Regretfully, due to a family member with allergies, I can ONLY CARE FOR HYPOALLERGENIC dogs in my hone)

Helene is wonderful! We left our doodle with Helene for the day and she had a blast. We were new to Rover and immediately felt very comfortable and knew she was in great hands. Helene is incredibly kind and very responsive both when coordinating and when watching our pup!

I love all dogs. However, due to family member with allergies, I can ONLY care for HYPOALLERGENIC dogs in our home. Also, Please let me know if: Your dog does not like greeting other dogs when on a walk. Your dog has bitten other dogs/humans in the past. Something special makes your dog anxious/afraid.
A typical day
Your dog will hang with me as much as they want. We will go for long walks, play catch in our backyard and snuggle on the couch when tired.

I am retired and therefore have a very flexible schedule. I normally walk 3-4 miles every day and would bring your dog along (unless indicated by you not to due to the age/health/preference of your dog)
