Pet care experience
My family has had cats my entire life, but I really started taking care of them when I was around 6 years old. Tanga, the black cat pictured, is my oldest friend. She’s been in our family since I was 3 and is still kicking at 18 years old! In addition to her, I have taken care of other cats throughout high school and have sought out volunteer opportunities at local shelters.

Couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch my cat Ruby. Helena has been amazing throughout this entire process, from the initial meet and greet, looking after Ruby and continuous updates throughout the day. I’m a nervous cat mom, and have usually opted to take my cat with me on extended trips. And as a first time Rover user I was initially reluctant. Helena completely removed any of those concerns. Thank you so much for caring for Ruby. I highly recommend her, she’s amazing.
Helena took excellent care of my very skittish baby. My cat is a rescue with unknown early trauma. He can be extremely difficult. She worked magic for sure. All my requests were honored and he is happy and healthy and on his patio with a lot to say. 100% recommend.
What a great experience! Helena is a dedicated cat sitter and we’ll absolutely use her services again. We were concerned about how our cats would be during our first two week trip away, however we were comforted to know that Helena went above and beyond what we expected. Our cats loved her!

Since I am new to the area, I don’t know many places to take pets on a walk. However, I have been hiking at a few local parks and think that would be a great place to go on a walk!

I am currently a full time student at George Mason and working part time, but I have really missed having pets around since coming to college. I’m super excited to incorporate pet care into my regular schedule!
