Pet care experience

I have been looking after dogs since childhood and they’re absolutely my favourite animals, I have a wide range of skills looking after all breeds of dogs, both small and large, rescue dogs and those with complex conditions or behaviours. Due to my work hours as a practice nurse I am unable to have a dog of my own but would love to help with walks and overnight stays with other dogs/animals local to the area. My fiancé is a farmer so I’m used to working and loving all the animals on his farm and love to take dogs for long walks across the open fields. I have a lovely home in the heart of Metheringham, no pets or children and I’m happy to help with walks, overnight stays and check in’s with your lovely animals.

Looked after our 1 year old Labrador so well. Lots of exercise for him and a lot of attention and cuddles too. Lots of updates for me and lovely pictures. He came home a very happy and content boy. Thanks so much 😊

Our Vishal Aggie must have had an amazing stay as she has been asleep ever since she got home. I think farm live is exhausting. Being able to be out and about all day is what she loves and then having cuddles in the evening, just perfect. Helena sent some lovely photos and kept us updated during Aggies stay and we would definitely book again. Thank you for making going away easy.

Helena was absolutely amazing with our pooch Lucy. We received photos and updates and she even went out of her way to collect her for us as we were running behind schedule. Lucy had the best time and looked happy and relaxed in the pictures. Will definitely use again next time we go away xx

Loki had a fabulous time at Helena and Charlie’s , he looked so at home when we collected him . We had lots of photos to keep us updated about how he had settled in and all the lovely walks and games of football he had. Would highly recommend . Helena and Charlie are a very friendly couple who looked after Loki like he was there own.Thank You

I have a fenced house, so dogs are unable to get out. I don’t have any pets or children at my house so all the TLC will be given to your animal. I like to go for regular walks and lots of cuddles with the dogs or other animals too.

A typical day

I can accommodate both short and long walks, Metheringham and it’s surrounds has some beautiful areas to walk around. I love to play ball with the dog and cuddle up to them on the sofa, I am very flexible to suit the needs of the dog.
