Hi, I grew up in Oslo, Norway with a mother who not only had several cats and dogs over the years herself but, also fostered animals on a regular basis. I learned early on the importance of looking after someone else and the value of empathy. This has left a huge impact on me till this day and I can now add to my experience over 15 years volunteering for an animal charity and I have also had both dogs and cats myself. Sadly my beloved dog Bruno passed 2 years ago and until I am ready for another dog of my own pet sitting and boarding would be ideal for me. It would be my privilege to look after your beloved pets ❤️🐶🐱🐾 I work from home and study business management part time. I accept both short and longer stays. I live with my partner Jon In a cottage style bungalow, in a quiet area of Old Didcot and near local green areas where we can go for lovely walks.

Helena takes such good care of our cat, making sure he is well cared for and we feel very happy leaving him with her for a few days. We've boarded our cat with Helena a few times now and will continue to do so in future
Helena is always great with my Harley (Rottweiler), sends lots of updates and pictures and Harley loves seeing Helena again. Definitely recommend

I have a small green patch outside my house, boarders and flowerbeds but the area is not fenced in. However, I am more than happy to provide all my boarding dogs with plenty of walks, play and park exercise as there are several parks near by. It is a very dog friendly area so pending on your dogs needs this can prove challenging if your dog is nervous and or reactive but I am always open to discuss this. I always offer a meet and greet so we can ensure that it is the right fit for your dog and it’s needs before securing a booking ❤️

I love all dogs and cats and I have no breed preferences. They will all receive lots of walkies, cuddles and playtime no matter how they look, special needs or how they behave. If your dog/cat has any specific needs that I need to be made aware of, I would be happy to support on those and likewise if your dog/cat has any favourite games or exercise needs or any other quirks, I would love to hear about those too!
A typical day
Long walks - beach walks or country side hikes are two of my absolute favorites pending the surroundings allows it. (suitable to the dogs needs) Playing fetch. Meeting other furry friends (suitable to the dogs needs) Lots of cuddles and belly rubs guaranteed!

Availability
I work most week days from home and I can ensure your loved ones gets all the fuss and attention they need also during my working hours. I never work weekends. I don’t have any pets of my own and only board one pet at a time. I am also very fortunate to work with a team of dog lovers who also work remotely like myself and most of the dogs I look after tend to join in in a meeting or two! My partner Jon works shifts so he’s also very happy to give all my guests lots of fuss and attention which is great if I’m in a meeting or busy with work. He used to have a chocolate lab and absolutely adores dogs just like me ❤️
