Pet care experience
Hi there! I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog in someone else’s care. That’s why I strive to provide your pup with the attention, love, and care they deserve. Not only have I dogsat for friends in the past, I also have my own dog - a senior pup named Bento. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs.

Helen looked after my dog Bagel for a few days while I was out of town to see family. Helen provided excellent care, sending regular photo + text updates and taking her out for stimulating walks. Bagel can be a bit of a nervous dog, especially with strangers, but it was clear by the end that she had developed trust with Helen, which is a testament to the quality of attention that Helen gave.
Helen took great care of Bagel again!
My dog Bagel is a little anxious, but she had a great time at day care with Helen. Helen was very responsive and communicative, sending pictures and updates throughout the day.
Helen - where can I start? I had a tragedy in the family and needed to act fast to get my bub somewhere to stay. I usually don’t trust strangers, but upon speaking with Helen, I thought I’d put my trust in her. She was flexible with drop off time and she was very communicative. Malcolm is friendly but he’s usually very shy with strangers! She sent me a picture of them smitten and my heart was full. She sent me pictures through out the day which made my heart feel a lot better even through mourning! Just knowing she was a safe space for malcolm made everything a little less stressful. Thank you so much, Helen.

I live in an apartment building with an elevator so there are no stairs for your dog to climb. Dogs are free to roam around the apartment and allowed on furniture. I live in a studio so will be able to keep an eye on your dog at all times.

Does your dog gets along with other people and/or dogs? Do they tugs on leashes? Do they have a tendency to eat random things off the ground on walks? Do they know recall commands? What other behavioral quirks do they have?
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We’ll explore my neighborhood and take plenty of walks together. I have different puzzle toys to keep them occupied and entertained. However, I understand that some dogs also are perfectly content with staying put and napping, in which case we’ll just chill on the couch, snuggle, and watch some TV together.

Availability
I’m currently working from home full time so I have a lot of flexibility to take your dog on walks and potty breaks. My dog stays with his other parent when I’m hosting for doggie daycare or boarding overnight, so your pup will be my #1 priority while they are with me.
