Pet care experience
I have always been in a home full of dogs from a young age, training & caring for multiple breeds of dogs over the years. I have two terriers of my own aged 2 & 8. One is blind, they are well trained but spoilt as my dogs are like family to me and yes they do come to bed ha. I am happy to cater for all your dogs needs & individual requirements, walking, cuddles, play time and sticking to their routine & boundaries you have set for them is very important to me. I am a regular dog boarder and happy to come out to your home for visits & dog walks if you prefer.

Having used Helen for a few months now after not being impressed with a number of other dog sitters / walkers I would wholeheartedly recommend Helen. I have two energetic but friendly Vizslas who enjoy their home comforts and good walks, previously I have felt that when I have picked up my dogs from other sitters the have been a bit subdued but when I have picked them up from Helen they are happy, relaxed and I’m good spirits. The dogs are definitely part of my family and I feel very comfortable leaving them with Helen as I know she treats them as part of hers.
Helen has looked after my much beloved puppy Olly and she is an absolute star! She has such a lovely way with dogs and I can trust her with my dog at any time. She devotes her whole life to making sure her own dogs are cared for and loved. I absolutely recommend using Helen if you’re looking for someone trustworthy who will treat your pet like your own 🐶

I have a large property with plenty of garden and yard space to run around in. My dogs have the run of the house but your pet who is boarding at my home will be catered for as per its individual needs, dogs will be in separate rooms for night time arrangements and if left for short periods. If I agree to have your dog I will ensure they are my priority for the duration of their stay & provide you with regular updates. We have lovely countryside around us so off road walking will be available for your pet to enjoy.

Please let me know your dogs routine, special requirements and any requests. Please not I have two small terriers. I only accept dogs that are good with other dogs ? but your dog can have it’s own space and room at my house if required and I can also keep your dog separate from mine if required
A typical day
Countryside walks, trips to the Peak District, play time in the garden & house and snuggles on the sofa. If your dog travels well I am happy to take them on adventure with my own dogs in the car. We prefer off road walks mainly, I am also an excellent ball thrower ?

Availability
I work full time but I am home 3 days a week and have my own dogs visited during the day on the two days I am in the office. I walk my dogs twice a day, we have regular playtime and weekends are for four legged adventures.
