I have been bought up with many dogs of various breeds all of my life from the age of 6. There have been seasons where I have lived with 5 dogs at a time while I was growing up. I have always been a dog lover, both when I have had dogs in the household and whenever I have met other dogs. I am more likely available for dog services in the holiday weeks outside of Powys term times. (As my first job is music teaching/musician, and dog-boarding/dog-walking comes second as my job part-time.) I have some availability in the Powys school term times too, but more specific when I am available and not available. In regards to dog-sitting in the term times, I am generally available Friday evenings through to Sunday evenings or even Monday mornings. My husband would either come with me to dog-sit and overnights, or if he is away with his care job, then I would do the dog-sit and overnights on my own. Out of the two of us (my husband Daniel and myself), I am the go-to person for the dog-sits. As for dog-walking services, I am generally available on Monday mornings (depending on location at a push), Tuesday mornings, Wednesday daytimes, Friday mornings and weekends. Whenever there is a dog walk that might be a push for me with other music (teaching) work commitments, my husband can take on the dog walks whenever he is available then. We are both the go-to people when it comes to dog-walking services. We are willing to do dog-sitting and dog-walking anywhere from Rhayader to Builth Wells. Please note that we are not allowed to dog sit in my own flat where dogs and most animals are forbidden, but we can dog-sit at people's homes. Also please note that I like at least a weeks notice to increase chances of myself being able to accept the dogsit. May get away with a few days notice, but it depends on my circumstances, but certainly no later than a few days notice. At least a weeks notice is preferable and more ideal. There are some great countrysides in the Mid Wales area where I am based, where I can enjoy taking dogs out for walks. I can also enjoy spending time in the dogs' company in their owners' homes while they are away. I can keep an eye on them constantly to check if they need to go out in the garden to do their business or when they are hungry, or if they need playtime then I can use dogs toys to play with them. I am able to do pet services on some mornings and some evenings depending on the days of the week especially term time to consider. I can fit these things in while I do self-employed music teaching in later afternoons and some evenings before it gets too late in the evening. Depending on the days of the week in term times, some evenings are more easier to settle with dogs with dog-boarding at earlier times than other days, where it would be later in the evenings. Keep them in the dog owners property with fencing and gates shut. Keeping them in the house with main doors shut. Opening the door and accompanying them when they need to do their business. When taking them on walks, keeping them firmly gripped on dog leads.
