Helen was such a joyful part of our daily household. She cared for Gretta, a 14 year old dachshund with special needs and a few quirks. Helen and Gretta developed their own special routines and relationship, and on days when I worked from home, it was easy to see that the little dog missed her friend. Helen took excellent care of Gretta. Helen carried her up and down stairs, made sure she was well walked and contented in spite of Gretta's inability to go very far or fast. Helen was always willing to show up, communicate, collaborate, and more than once helped me with an emergency or last minute schedule change. One day in particular, Gretta was in distress, and had alerted both the nanny-cam and the neighbors to her condition. I wasn't able to untangle myself from work and get home fast enough, but Helen adjusted her schedule, and turned up shortly to comfort the dog, make sure she was ok, and safe. She took care of Gretta when I couldn't, and was supportive and kind and communicative the whole way. We miss Helen *a ton* - it's hard to overstate how lovely it was to have someone in our lives that I knew would take as much care with the pup as I would.

Helen provided responsible, loving care to our elderly pup. For almost two years, she was a constant presence in our lives through daily walks while we were at work. Helen always sent us texts and photos letting us know how Izzy was feeling and what she was up to. She understood that some days Izzy wanted to charge around the block, and others she was content to toddle out for a quiet pee. Helen even rushed Izzy to the vet when she had a medical issue on a walk. We will always be grateful that Izzy had Helen to give her enrichment and love!
