I have lived with dogs (and other creatures!) since I was a newborn baby. Growing up, we had medium-large shelter dogs, cats, and various small mammals. I cared for our dogs in their old age, through painful cancer, and gave daily pills for Addison's Disease. I currently have two small-medium dogs, 2 rabbits, and 2 cats (technically my partner's). One dog (Gimli) is about 11 years old from the shelter, and the other (Obi) is almost 5 and he passed the Canine Good Citizen test! I'm a nurse at an ambulatory surgery center where I work Mon-Thurs about 7am-6pm. I can do evening visits, but mornings I am not available on those days. I do not work Fri-Sun so those days are fair game for anything! I have a dog-friendly RAV4 if your dog needs transportation somewhere. We rent our house and it's already full of animals, so it would be best for me to come to you. As an RN, I'm not phased by bodily fluids or medication requirements. As a life-long pet owner and lover, I understand the uniqueness of every pet! I would love the opportunity to get to know your pooch (or cat or small mammal or...?) ! I will listen carefully to any details or requests you may have. I want your pet/s to be happy and not home alone.
