MY BACK-STORY ✨ Going back to the beginning, as a dog-obsessed teen growing up in England, I came home one day with a Border Collie rescue. My mother was complicit but my father... not so much. From the moment she trotted through the door, our beloved Orsa 🐾 became the best thing in all our lives, my dad falling in love with her as much as the rest of us. We had 7 amazing years with her. After Orsa, the void was infinite and my parents decided to offer a holiday home to dogs when their families vacationed. It wasn't long before I too, was roped in on this new family venture - boarding dogs whenever my parents were fully booked and between all of us, we have been so lucky to experience an extended family of pooches. We have watched doggos grow from pup to their most senior years and have made lifelong friends in their family members along the way. MY LIFE NOW ☀️ Whilst my parents continue to 'holiday home' dogs in the UK, I have recently emigrated to California to join my wonderful husband here and am loving making new doggy friends and welcoming them into our lives to offer a safe and happy 'home away from home'. 🏡

Just hired Helen for daycare for the first time and she was great! I felt immediately comfortable sending my doggo out for the day with her. She sent great updates and got my couch potato dog to do a hike. Thanks, Helen!

Ahmet and I don't have any other pets and we don't accept multiple bookings so your fur-baby will always be our focus. Our home is a bright and spacious bungalow on a tree-lined street with our own fenced yard for your pup to play in. We are incredibly active people who spend a lot of time outdoors and we are committed to offering your pet a holiday of it's own whilst staying with us!

So we can prepare to offer them the best care for your pet, please let us know the following (either during Meet & Greet or via Rover message): - Does your pet have any health or behavioural concerns? - Does your pet show any aggression to other dogs, people or animals? - Can your pet be left alone and if so, for how long? (We don't feel comfortable leaving dogs alone for long, but it would be good to know whether or not we can make other plans for up to 4 hours whilst your pet is in our home). - Is your pet happy to travel in the car? - Does your pet sleep through the night (approx 11pm-7am)? - Does your pet excessively vocalize? In order to be respectful to our neighbors, dogs that bark a lot might not be the best fit. (We fully expect some vocalization and barking, but please let us know if they are typically easily triggered by nearby sounds).
A typical day
I love to be outside as much as possible and spend time as much time as possible in nature feeling the fresh air on my face! We are fortunate to live close to the Pasadena Rose Bowl which we enjoy for walks, yoga & picnics! We are also a short car drive away from an abundance of hiking trails should this sort of activity suit your pup.

Availability
I am at home full-time so your pet will always be my priority. For home-visits and walks, organising times convenient for you and your pet can be easily arranged. My husband, Ahmet (another animal lover!) works from home regularly also.
