Pet care experience
I have learned that the love pets give is immense, they deserve every day to be wonderful and happy. That is how my family and I have always treated our pets. I offer that same commitment to yours in simple ways that make the most of the time we have with them. We were lucky enough to have raised two beautiful boxers, they have crossed the rainbow bridge. Our hearts are full of love and our home is empty. We would be honored to care for your doggies.

Wonderful care with this host!
We felt good about leaving our dogs with Helen and Eddie. They have a large, clean home with plenty of space in the fenced yard. They sent photos daily, assuring us that the dogs were comfortable and content. One of our dogs was diagnosed with an eye infection just hours before I dropped him off. Helen accommodated his condition without complaint, administering eye ointment and pain medication during his stay. We wouldn't hesitate to leave our dogs with Helen and Eddie again.
Repeat customer and we love the attention jasper gets here and the photos that we get during his stay!

Non-smoking home. I have a large fully fenced yard, bedding, blankets, toys, bowls, leashes, and crates if needed. We have no carpet on the main floor. You'll need to supply any food or treats and medications if needed. We'll host up to three families of dogs but possibly more over the holidays.

How does your dog let you know he/she needs to go outside? How do you signal them to be ready for bedtime or meals? Is your dog trained to come, sit, or stay? Are they crate-trained? Any problems with storms or anxiety? Please contact me with any questions, I love to hear about the little things that your dog specifically likes and does when happy and how to best keep them comfortable. I am very flexible and able to help in most situations. Please supply diapers or belly bands for incontinence or marking if need be. ***** Additional Holiday Rates and Fees: Puppy rate over a holiday is an additional + $10/day to the current holiday rate. Additional Dog rate over a holiday is a reduction - $10/day to the current holiday rate. Sorry we cannot currently accommodate "only dog" bookings. Easter weekend will be booked at a holiday rate. *If your request is over a holiday, I will manually change the other non-holiday days of your request BACK to the standard rate. Unfortunately, the Rover platform cannot distinguish between regular days and holidays during a stay, so the request is sent to me as the entire booking at a holiday rate. I will gladly correct this for you! Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
A typical day
During the day we may go outside if it's nice, we have a large yard for playtime and zoomies. We are home and your dog will be able to be with us during their stay most of the time. The afternoon and evening before dinner we'll play together with the dog toys in the toy bin or relax and get snuggle time together.

Availability
We can continue your pet's routines here in our home. We are up early in the morning and ready to start the day with feedings and time outside. We can give your pet attention during the day and are available for communication, you will get updates on how they are doing. Most evenings we stay home and spend time playing with the dogs, feeding them, and spending time together. We have a son who is 16 and when he is home can usually be found doing some homework or playing a game.
