I just graduated with a B.S. in Zoology from UMaine Orono! I have loved animals since I could walk and enjoy their company. At school, I worked at two horse barns where I rode/trained horses, and cared for them. I also have worked at Petsmart (Doggy Day Camp and Pet Care) for over a year giving me a lot of experience. I also spent a summer working at Drumlin Farm in Lincoln, MA, in the Wildlife Care department. I have dog/house sat (with cats, rodents, birds, and fish) many times, with many friendly and shy pets. I understand, being a stranger to them in the house, that your pets will not always trust me right away, and can work with them and build a good relationship, giving them space as needed. I am currently staying at my parents' house, and therefore cannot take in dogs or cats, but I have a reliable vehicle, which I can easily transport myself and any animal passengers.
