Hello, my name is Helen but I go by Celeste! While I’ve been quite introverted ever since I was young, I have always felt like I could emotionally connect to animals and am my absolute happiest when I’m around them. I grew up with and took care of three variously-sized dogs throughout my life, one of which being both blind and partially deaf, as well as two cats. In addition, I have previously volunteered regularly at a local cat shelter for nearly two years. I currently do not have any animals of my own and miss mine back home very much, so I would be more than honored to give your pet the same love and care I would give my own while you’re away!

Celeste was awesome with Rosie. Rosie clearly had a great time and was very relaxed when we got home. Celeste sent a bunch of updates and photos while we were gone which I really appreciated.

Helen was fantastic for my first time with Rover! Excellent communication and she was very thoughtful and respectful and kind to my little cat! I will absolutely be delighted to have Helen pet sit for us again. Plus I engaged her at the last minute so it was really great to have her. Thanks Helen!

Information Helen C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of allergies and any health concerns that you feel is important for me to be aware of. While I do not have experience administering oral medication, if your pet needs to be given some while under my care I am definitely willing to learn your routine. As of now, I would like to specifically work with small to medium sized dogs. I would appreciate knowing how they react to strangers and other dogs when being walked. I do not have much experience with dogs who may react aggressively, so we will most likely not be the best fit if that’s the case. If there are any other concerns regarding your pet, such as behaviors you would like me to help encourage/discourage, triggers, or a specific schedule you’d like me to follow, please let me know!
A typical day
Walks will be in the surrounding neighborhood, including a park visit if nearby! If your dog loves to play and has any specific favorite activities or toys, please feel free to mention them. Any other requests that you’d like me to do while I’m with your pet are welcome!

Availability
I currently work Monday through Friday from 1:30pm-6:30pm, so outside of those times I have fairly open availability for walks and drop-ins! Mornings are my favorite time to be out and about, but I can be available throughout the day and evening if it fits in with my schedule. I am always willing to be flexible with availability though, so please still feel free to reach out!
