Pet care experience
I've had a variety dogs my entire life and as an adult I used to own a rescue whippet who required extra care and attention due to his needs. This has been a massive learning curve for me as I've had to take extra interest in his behaviours so I can understand his way of communicating whether he is angry, sad, anxious, happy. After almost 2 years of having him I was able to read the dog like an open book and was able to identify these behaviours in other dogs and can now confidently act in a way they require to make them most comfortable.

Unfortunately I’m able to care for any animals in my own home as my housemate is allergic but I’m more than happy to visit a pet in their home and be respectful. Whether they want to play in the garden/home or go for a big long walk, I’m content with doing both.

If you pet requires any special attention or has any needs then please let me know in advance. Having owned a rescue with many needs himself, I’m quite familiar with how to conduct myself around them and also be the type of sitter that they require so theyre comfortable and happy. I’ve been bitten, peed on, aggressively barked at and I simply take these things in my stride as its just a part of owning a complex dog.
A typical day
Being so close to beaches and so many spaces with nature its the perfect opportunity for them to roam around outdoors with my supervision, lead or no lead.

Availability
I work 5-6 days a week but I love spending time with dogs and animals in general so making space to spend time with the dogs is a massive priority for me
