Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs since the start of the pandemic. Typically, I take them on walks and feed them according to their schedule. I have been volunteering at my local animal shelter to further my knowledge regarding animal behavior.

Heidy took great care of my cat when I was gone.
Heidy is one of our favorite and our beagle Odie’s favorite sitters. She is very outgoing, communicative, and Odie loves her. Heidy is great and we highly recommend her.
Heidy did great watching Akela and I could tell Akela was comfortable and happy under her care. Typically she shows a bit a stress when I’ve been gone but that wasn’t the case with Heidy. It was my first time with house sitting and Heidy took great care of my home as well. Would certainly book again
Heidy was terrific! She was available on short notice, showed up on time for every appointment, and communicated clearly and promptly throughout our engagement. She also handled some specific challenges very capably, including cleaning a wound and medical equipment, and problem solving when our pup’s cone came off during the night. She was also loving and kind and our dog felt instantly comfortable with her. Definitely recommend!

I do not offer petsitting services in my own home, since it's not convenient for me and my family. However, when I petsit in a client's home I make sure that their pet is taken care for whether it's playing with them or taking them out on walks.

A typical day
In order to make the experience more entertaining of the dog, I will typically take them on longer walks. I enjoy taking dogs to Rock Creek or any dog parks that are close by!

Availability
I'm currently on my summer break, so I am available to petsit at any time besides Saturday. I volunteer at the animal shelter on Saturdays, however, I typically volunteer in the morning which gives me time to petsit in the afternoon.
