I am The Good Dog Gal. I am a 30 year old pet lover who in lives in Philadelphia, PA. Since I was 13 years old, I have been taking care of dogs. My first dog sitting gig was for two beautiful Golden Retrievers for my parents’ business partners. Any time they were gone to a conference, I would spend the weekend taking care of them. Once I was 15, helped my neighbors feed their Dachshund after school because they worked late. When I went to college, I moved in with a roommates that each had dogs. One a Black Lab and the other a Corgi. They felt like they were my own, and when my roommates were away, I would take care of them. I am looking forward to dog sitting, walking-running your dog(s) or going to your place and check on your dog(s), cat(s) or caged Bird(s), while you are out of town, or on an emergency situation. I work in the office Tuesday-Thursday 8-5, and work from home the rest of the weekdays. My very anxious dog was not nearly as anxious as he usually is when I leave! Heidi took great care of him and made him feel comfortable while I was gone. My dog warmed up to her very quickly and I know I can count on Heidi to take care of my boy again.

Most of the time I am walking a dog, so when I come in I will spend a few minutes petting them and making sure they are excited for the walk. Depending on their excitement, I might walk them right away and make sure they have pets and enough food/water before I leave.

The behavior of their dog with new people. Whether they are afraid of men or women, or if they are afraid of other dogs, cats, or loud noises?
A typical day
If there is a park that is near the place I am walking a dog, that will be my go to place. I would make sure to take routes that are not super busy with traffic and as much greenery as possible. After walks, I like to give the doggo tons of pets and treats if the client allows.

Availability
I have a cat myself so I am consistently making sure my cat is fed, and have her basic necessities met. I also make sure I take time to brush and spend quality time with her.
