Pet care experience
I grew up with four large dogs (2 Labs & 2 Chesadors). I have always loved and cared for all my pets including my dog, Hershey, my cat, Buster, and my horse, Biggie. I am very good with special needs dogs and administering medications. I have spent many hours hiking in the mountains with my dog and my neighbors French Bull Dog. I am a recent UCLA law school graduate working as an attorney in downtown Los Angeles. I am a former swimmer who swam four years at Yale as a backstroker and butterflyer. I graduated from Yale in 2018. I love the outdoors and all kinds of animals. I grew up in Washington State. I would like to take care of dogs until I have the opportunity to own my own dog. I do have one cat. Her name is Hedwig and she is perfectly comfortable around other animals. My neighbor has a pitbull, and she and Hedwig are best friends. Heidi was excellent with my golden retriever, Moby! He can get a bit nervous with new settings, but I could tell from the photos and videos Heidi sent that she made him feel happy and at home when he was with her. She definitely kept him active and entertained during his stay (he slept like a log when we got home ?), and I will definitely be booking her again for future trips!

I have a large fenced yard which doubles as the perfect doggie park for my furry tenants. I can also crate your pup if you prefer. I love to let the dogs out to play in the backyard when supervised.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs. After walking I like to let them run in the backyard. If I have a couple of dogs at the same time it is so much fun to through the ball and watch them play together.

Availability
I usually take a walk in the morning before work. I frequently work from home so I have lots of time to play or observe them in my backyard. My partner is home all day with your pet so they are not left alone except for an occasional trip to the store or the gym.
