I grew up on a hobby farm in North Georgia. We had dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens, goats, etc - I grew up taking care of these animals. I have been dog-sitting for friends since moving to Nashville in 2004 -- I've taken care of puppies and older dogs that require medication and assistance going outside to use the restroom -- my home in East Nashville does have 5 steps in the front and 2 steps in the back. I am lucky enough to get my own dog 9 years ago - she's a 9-year-old black lab named Tuggle. She's really just a big love bug and will share her bed with others if they decided they want to sleep with her. I can promise you that your dog will be treated and cared for like he/she is my own.

Heidi took great care of our pup Bowie. When we picked him up, we could tell he had a fun time with her and Tuggle! She was attentive to our care instructions and was especially caring for Bowie while there were storms since he’s afraid of thunder. She sent photo updates and was always quick to respond. We’ll definitely book with Heidi again!

Heidi is the BEST!!! We just moved to Nashville and needed a in home boarder right away for a 4 day work retreat. We were so stressed to find someone who would love on our fur baby who can be anxious with you new people and pets. Heidi and her fur baby were so welcoming the moment we arrived! It took us a few moments to know we found a home away from home for our GiGi and we were able to leave feeling at ease! Heidi sent pics and let us know GiGi was well cared for. We can’t thank Heidi enough!
We cannot thank Heidi enough for her wonderful care with our dogs. We had a bit of a health situation with our dogs right before they stayed with Heidi and she was so understanding and amazing with medications and keeping us updated on how they were doing. Heidi sent many pictures and we could tell our dogs were so happy staying with her. Would highly recommend her! Extremely trustworthy and such a great person!

I work from home from 8 to 5 while I may run out for coffee or lunch -- your dog will not be left by him/herself for more than 2/3 hours. I also walk Tuggle every morning no matter what -- it's important to me that she gets a little exercise/leach training first thing!
