I've lived with & taken care of dogs since I was 3, from puppies to old dogs, 10 lbs to 100+lbs. I've been a long term dog sitter across the country.

Heidi was a wonderful dog sitter! She stayed at my apartment for 2 weeks and watched my 12 year old golden retriever, Jasmine, while I went abroad. It was great having peace of mind knowing both my dog and apartment were being looked after while I was away. Jasmine loved Heidi and they had a great stay together. My apartment was in immaculate shape went I returned and I wouldn't expect any different from Heidi with her kindness and care for others and animals. I highly recommend Heidi on Rover!
My pupper had a great time and is quite tired and my house was just like I'd left it. Heidi was very communicative and paid great attention to instructions.
I have known Heidi for many years. She is responsible, thoughtful and caring. On several occasions she looked after my house, dog and cat without any difficulty. I never had to worry about her commitment to me and my pets. She is simply the best!
Heidi was raised with dogs and now has one of her own. She learned from a very early age how to take care of dogs and treat them right. She enjoys being around dogs and seems to have an affinity for connecting with them, quickly understanding the personalities and responding to the needs, whether it be a scratch on the belly, a bit of roughhousing, or a deserved treat. She knows that pets need consistency to learn and follow rules and she can be firm as needed. Her personality is engaging and bright and the dogs she's been around, her own or family and friends', take to her quickly.

I have experience with all ages, abilities, sizes, and energy levels, so I'm comfortable with pretty much anything. I would appreciate any information ahead of time regarding how they get along with other dogs, favorite activities, anything they don't like, medical issues, etc.
A typical day
Whatever they like to do! I can play tug of war or fetch, give snuggles and scratches, go on walks, runs or hikes, hit the dog park, share an ice cream cone, etc.

I am self employed, so my schedule is incredibly flexible, and I'm free on the weekends. I'm active and love being outdoors in any weather!
