The Farm Animal Retreat
Pet care experience
I’ve been around and taking care of animals since childhood. We now own a small farm (12 acres) with cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys. (As well as our own pup and cat). There is plenty of room for your animal to roam and live their best life while you are away or just wanting them to get out and stretch their legs.

Heidi was great. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her and the family. Will use her from now on.
Heidi and her family were so wonderful to my dog Fergus. He is used to going everywhere with me so I have never left him for a week with someone unknown. Fergus fit right in with Heidi’s family. It was wonderful to have so much property for him to roam on and in a safe environment. He was happy to greet me when I saw him, but it was obvious he was comfortable there as he was busy walking around as I packed the car. He came back, beautiful and clean and happy. You couldn’t ask for anything more. I recommend them highly.
Couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker and family to watch my dog. Whenever we need, Heidi will be used by us again for sure!
I have known Heidi her entire life. She has always had a love of animals and has taken excellent care of her cats and dogs as a young girl growing up. She lives on a farm and has responsibly taken care of chickens, turkeys, pigs, and cows while also tending to the family's 2 dogs and 1 cat. I would allow Heidi to pet sit my dog, Penny.

I have a fenced yard as well as an open yard. I have a friendly, older blue heeler and a tabby cat (that is surprisingly super friendly). At the same time these 2 also have their own space if yours are not; they can be kept separately. We also have the space for crates if yours is crate trained. Our heeler has her own.

I’m home most everyday all day so am there to keep your pet entertained and loved on! I also really enjoy being outdoors and taking care of animals so there will be plenty of time for them to get out and exercise!!
