Pet care experience
I recently had to press pause on being a dog boarder while we added a 6th child to our family. I am so excited to get back in the saddle!! I've been a dog person/owner my whole life. I currently own 2 dogs. A 7 year old female mini labradoodle and 2 year old rescue female dalmapoo that I've had the pleasure of training since she was 8 weeks old! When trying to find care for my own dogs while travelling, I've found options in Utah County are mostly limited to places that crate the dogs all day and maybe let them out for a walk once or so a day. I would love to instead be an option where fur babies could come and have their own fun adventure being part of another family playing with other doggy friends while you're away.

Wonderful experience! Our dog had such a great time. They took him on a walk each day and even took him to the park to play! Would definitely recommend!
Heidi is great with our lab! We know our pup is happy and well cared for when she’s excited to return to Heidi’s and see her family. It’s nice to know she’s loved and played with while we’re away. Heidi updates us regularly with photos and messages and does a great job.
Super sweet family! They were understanding and caring for my boy as if he were their own. Not to mention, I reached out to them pretty last minute and they were quick to respond and accept. So grateful!
Our black lab loved Heidi and her family! She was cared for so lovingly and appeared (from the pictures we received) to feel like family. I’d have her care for Maya again without reservation.

Fenced in backyard as well as a spacious family room for them to spend time in indoors. We also live down the street from Kiwanis Park and take our dogs there nightly for a walk and extended game of fetch. Both our dogs are great with other dogs once they have been given a chance to safely warm up to them. The dalmapoo is all puppy - all play, all the time. Play wrestling GALORE! The mini-labradoodle is more relaxed but also very patient. Mainly she just looks at me like "What am I supposed to do with this??" while more hyper dogs are bounding and play bowing around her until they get bored with her and move on, haha!

Proof of vaccinations. Must be well-socialized with children. Even then we are careful with introductions to our dogs and kids. All dogs including our own will be leashed at first until proven that every mammal trusts every mammal. That being said, we have yet to have a boarder that wasn't given full freedom been part of the family after just a few hours. We just want to play it safe for everyone.
A typical day
We go on walks, runs, trips to the dog park. The dogs will have plenty of time inside AND outside depending on their preference. We have even bathed dogs during their stay if our adventures have gotten a little too messy

I'm a part-time mom of 6. My husband is a professor of statistics at BYU. We have worked between our 2 schedules that at least one of us is home all of the time. This makes us able to accommodate a wide variety of schedules. Any dogs we care for would need to be good with young kids (baby-12) and dogs. As long as they meet that requirement, they will have no shortage of attention.
