Pet care experience
I’ve had an English Springer Spaniel for the past 14 years of my life and trained him from a puppy and yes, the rumours are true…they are crazy until the end! Throughout my teens I have house sit for many friends and neighbours, both house sitting and checking in/taking care of their beloved pets. I know first hand that you never want to leave your pets but sometimes you just need a pina colada on the beach and that ‘guilt’ is lessened knowing your pet on their own staycation! I’m am confident with all types of pets, breeds, and age.

Heidi has been looking after our dog for the past 8 years. She walked our dog on a weekly basis, popping in to feed him in the evening before we got home from work and house sit over weekends/when we were on holiday. Heidi is polite, attentive and trustworthy, and we wouldn’t leave our pet or house with anyone else. Heidi sent daily updates from our pooch when we were on holiday to keep us reassured (although we knew he was in good hands)! Would highly recommend.

I have a house with a gate and a very large fenced garden backing onto 5 fields. My village also has a ‘dog walking field’ which is fully fenced to allow dogs to be safely let of their lead.

Let me know your breed and any special requirements that you think would be relevant to my responsibilities! Any preference on game/entertainment, food, lead type, current training methods, common behaviour with other dogs and children.
A typical day
We’ll be out most of the day! If able we will go for a walk round the fields which back onto the house, lapping round through the village checking out the local dogs on route. Once home, if your pooch still has energy we will play games in our fenced garden, where they can also sniff around our herb garden. When it’s time for chill time, we’ve got a glass conservatory for a bit of sunbathing, or a fireplace to snuggle up.

Availability
My work schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30am until 5pm however, I am available in the evenings for sitting and anytime on the weekends with enough notice.
