Hi! My name is Heidi and thank you for entering my profile to get to know me better! I've been surrounded by animals ever since I can remember. The earliest memory I have of taking care of animals was as a tiny 2 year old. My Grandfather had a great fascination for gardening and all life surrounding us. In our home, he also kept parakeets and always showed me to treat animals/plants kindly and with great respect. I'm proud to say he would never hurt them or their wings and would let them roam around freely. They would always come back. He taught me that when you show an animal love, care and respect there would never be issues. Further on, being able to take care of stray kittens whenever they were born in our garden, hidden behind our gardening shed, taught me my love towards felines that I will forever have. I remember it was always sad whenever the kittens, all grown and and some days no longer appearing where we fed them, disappeared and ventured into their life somewhere I only hoped was nearby and safe. Currently, I no longer live with my Grandfather who taught me such an important lesson that will forever be present in my daily life. I am the owner of two beautiful cats that have happy lives. I had to move away and leave them under my parents care after graduating high school. I used to live with my parents and my father is a cattle breeder that taught me how to handle big, tough cattle too! I currently have a beautiful American Pit Bull Terrier named Nala living with me and I love her greatly. I previously had another big, playful American Pit Bull Terrier named Kilo but he has passed away due to old age. We cared for him from when he was a small puppy to senior. I miss him every day but know he lived a long, happy life with my family and I. Rover gave me the chance to provide my great customer service and love for animals by showing utmost care and attention to your pets when you book either a walk, drop-in, or house-sitting .
