I'm my best self when I have a dog
Pet care experience
Through rescuing two dogs throughout my life, I've learned that dogs love unconditionally. As a dog owner, I am well-versed in a dog's needs and varying lifestyles, based on age, ability, and breed. It is important to listen to a dog's needs and make them feel comfortable communicating with you. I have cared for dogs with chronic illness, anxiety disorders, and physical impairments, so I will care for your dog with empathy and kindness. Especially during times of COVID-19, dogs have become just as stressed as we are and could use more socialization and enrichment. Regular activities can become monotonous for dogs and can leave them lethargic. By adding a new person (me!) and something fun to look forward to every day, I will bring your dog home to you happy and tired. I believe that old dogs can learn new tricks and implement engaging activities while caring for your dog to keep their minds sharp and their tails wagging.
Reviews
Heidi is the best! She loves all dogs and is great with taking care of them. My dog is a handful but she still is great with him - she's taken care of him when I was out of town in the past and was wonderful! Loved Heidi's help and she is very responsible!
Heidi truly has a love for dogs and is very reliable. She knows how to handle both larger and smaller dogs. I love her notes after each walk and could not ask for a better dog walker. I’m worried that my pets might like her more than me!
