I am a vet working in Windsor 4 days a week, but my partner works from home. We are originally from South Africa, have two dogs that we brought over with us, and they love to have friends play at the house with them.

Heidi and Ryan took great care of Ralf for us while we were away. He’s not a straightforward dog to look after due to his Diabetes and blindness, but once he had settled in with them all, he was so happy. Heidi kept us updated with photos and video, and I had no worries about his medical needs as Heidi is medically trained. I would highly recommend them both, and I hope they will be able to look after Ralf for us again in the future.

We have a fenced back garden. We live right in front of Jock’s Lane Park, and next to a little forest so they get walked regularly. We also do love having little adventures on the weekends with them.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavioral issues, especially with regards to other dogs or when going for walks. Jessie (small white one) can sometimes be a little barky terrier when meeting on lead, but they honestly just want to play and are so happy to have other dogs in their space.
A typical day
Wake up at 7am, let the dogs out for a wee, breakfast time, move their beds from upstairs to downstairs, they play while Ryan has his morning meetings, take them for a walk around lunch time, come home and nap for the afternoon, I get home late afternoon, they eat dinner, we eat dinner, they play or we take them for a walk if they’ve got too much energy still, then bed time upstairs with us

Availability
We take them for daily walks, the back door is always open so they have access to the garden all day. Very playful but also do love a good snooze. They get fed twice a day.
