I’ve encountered some injuries which prevent me doing an enormous amount of physical work, but I can quite capably care for two or three ponies or horses, as long as there isn’t a lot of muddy paddock or heavy wet straw for me to poo-pick. • Live Oak Arabians Horse Farm, Baton Rouge, Louisiana- in charge of halter-breaking all of the colts as well as feeding, walking and exercising two stud stallions and two mares. • Horseback riding Instructor in Texas & Louisiana • Riding Director at Blueberry Cove Camp in Maine • Two pampered cats in Hong Kong • a Bouvier des Flandres dog in New Orleans • Puff the Magic Cat on a houseboat in Sausalito for a three-year housesit for • Lucky the hound dog in Mill Valley, Ca What a pleasure Lucky dog was...he was up there in years but BOY! did he LOVE taking a drive • an Appaloosa Horse Farm in Natchitoches including administration of special feeds and medication. • Dogs, Cats, Birds, Lizards, Chickens, Gerbils, hamsters, pigs, calves and cattle BUGS!, a Hermit Crab and B&B Guests! ..I've taken care of them all.

I had two Great Danes that loved Heidi. They were well fed groomed and walked. Of course, she spent time the coach with these lap lizards. The dogs thought she was part of the coach. Heidi also came and helped me in my home in New Mexico. I did not have a pet, my service dog had died. She helped me around the house, and with cooking, and helping me get to the store and hospital. She was a great companion when I needed one,

Are they food aggressive with other dogs or with humans? Are there ways they definitely do not appreciate being approached or touched? Are they hyper or especially sensitive to anything?
A typical day
My pet and farm animal-sitting style is based on the animals, your beloveds and their needs. all high energy critters have the need for lots of playtime and exercise, so, that is how I will focus my time. If your pets or farm animals are not so high energy, I will focus my time feeding them, pasturing or cuddling them and of course, slower walks and tending to any other needs they may have. I will follow any and all instructions from the owner. I am experienced with administering medicine and working with elder animals of all kinds, including cats and dogs, as well as gregarious puppies. • Pricing • PLEASE READ • if your lovelies need 24/7 care with very little time alone, your booking will be adjusted to include a daycare rate and I will be sure to spend additional daytime hours with them, only leaving for food or appointments if necessary. • Holiday rates are applied to the entire booing if the requested dates include a holiday • If your Sit requires travel of more than 25 miles from my current location will require a transportation fee.

My schedule works around housesitting. I am a lifelong Pet Sitter & House sitter, caring for animals (AND some insects!) and the homes they live in. And for five years, I've traveled the US and Europe as a year round sitter.
