I worked as Manager and previously as a Vet Assistant at Downingtown Animal Hospital for 10 years and I love all animals! I would love to take care of your furry family member while you're away. This year I decided to make caring for your pets my full time job. I don't even like calling it a "job" for caring for them never seems like work. They are a blessing! I have 6 cats and two amazing rescue pups! Bear Bear (has crossed the rainbow bridge) was a foster failure from 6 years ago--I just couldn't let him go--and Lenny and Ellie came to me 3 years ago. (Both are with Bear Bear now) They were litter mates that I had been pet sitting for two years. The owner had to re-home them and I could not take the chance of them being separated (they are eleven) so I offered to love them till the end! I am married and have two children ages 18 and 16 who also have a love of animals, so your pets won't want for attention! Some of my most favorite house guests are the elderly and "special needs" I had a favorite basset named Lucy that is blind who visits us often. (She has since traveled the rainbow bridge). I am able to administer medications, change doggie diapers, give injections, and give fluids under the skin if needed. My back yard is fenced in and all my animals are used to me having "furry" sleepover guests. I also have references available upon request! Thank you for your consideration! Heidi

Bailey always comes home extremely happy from Heidi’s place. Heidi is extremely flexible with our schedule and we have never had any issues with dropping or picking up Bailey.

Is your pup good with other dogs? What do they think of cats? Are the potty trained or do they have chronic accidents? Do they have any special needs? Medications? Issues I should be aware of? I want to know as much about your furry friend as possible.
A typical day
I typically just let them all run in the backyard. But if they want to walk, we just walk the neighborhood. Depending on what your pup is used to, he/she will sleep in the bed with me, on the floor wherever they are comfortable, any couch or chair we have, or a crate (if that is what they are used too) I spend time with all my animals friends! When I am home we play, we cuddle, we have snacks! I do work a flexible schedule and my time home varies but they are never without a person for more then 6 hours. When your pet is in my home, they are loved on just like they were our own pet. When I travel to your home several times a day, I spend 20-30 minutes with them each time. We have a completely fenced in backyard. It is a great size for playing ball or just running all around. I clean up all the "business" daily. Extra house-sitting services Yes I am!
