I have owned, loved and cared for dogs from all walks of life, including rescues, seniors and puppies. I am not intimidated by frisky dogs, dogs with disabilities, medical needs, or other challenges. Dogs keep me mentally and physically healthy and provide much love in return for my care and attention.

Heidi did a great job caring for our goldendoodle - Fiona...for 4 nights. She kept us well informed and was very responsive to calls and texts. She took Fiona on multiple walks each day, spent a lot of time with Fiona and took great care of our house. Thank you Heidi!!!

Heidi is a great dog and house sitter! She took my dog out for multiple walks a day and always left notes about how my pup did in our absence. She is always super communicative, sends photos, and responds to question quickly! It definitely shows that she loves dogs and always takes such good care of my dog and house when we travel. Really appreciate how much care she shows our dog!

Dogs fare best in their own home when you are away. I make sure that their routine is maintained (feeding schedules, sleeping patterns, toys, snack time, etc.), that they are cleaned up afterward immediately, and always safe in their environment (ie leashed and/or kept in fenced yard or crated as requested).

Please let me know your pet's sleeping habits and schedule so that I can better prepare for my own good night's sleep. I also would like written instructions for when I arrive.
A typical day
I like to walk/hike with dogs in parks and on wooded trails. I am also a fan of playing Frisbee and or throwing a tennis ball or sticks to dogs, most of whom like to fetch, I've learned! I am happy to take your pet on a "field trip" to a local park as well, if requested.

I am semi-retired and have flexibility to care for your doggo any day of the week or overnight, too, on your schedule, within a 30-minute drive from Milwaukee.
