Pet care experience
Before providing pet care with Rover, I had had the privilege of pet and house sitting for 7 local pet owners in the Ashland area for a year and a half. I have also cared for pets in Talent and Medford, and the love has been reciprocal. I enjoy actively playing with pets and getting to know their personalities. I also have a van and use it to visit the local dog parks with the pets in my care.

We love Heidi SO much!!! She's wonderful! We highly recommend her. She's very attentive and great with cats. She has patience and loads of compassion regarding the extra care and attention needed with our senior cat who makes messes, gets hangry, and requires medication. Our cats were content and well cared for thanks to Heidi's excellent work, care, and kindness. Thank you, Heidi!
Heidi took excellent care of our elderly dog Bella, encouraging her to eat, giving medication, and keeping her in good spirits. She kept in touch and let us know how things were going. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat.
Heidi was fantastic with my four cats. The cats immediately warmed up to her and I felt very confident and secure with Heidi visiting my home while I was away on a trip. Heidi is conscientious and trustworthy and relieved any stress related to the safety of my home and care for my pets.
Heidi did an excellent job caring for our two kitties, one of whom is a senior cat who requires daily medication and is a bit on the high-maintenance side. Heidi handled it all like the pro. We came home to happy cats and everything was clean and organized upon our return, as well. We would re-hire Heidi in a heartbeat and we feel lucky to have found her! A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs to socialize with other doggers at the local dog parks such as the Ashland Dog Park or Bark Park in the town of Talent, as long as your dog is comfortable with that. If not, I know of many other parks in the area to provide individualized time with your pet. I also enjoy shenanigans and play time with cats with their favorite toys. It goes without saying that there will be an abundance of petting and butt scratches. I can provide some basic training, such as recall and obedience with eye contact drills. I can also run your dogs if you’d like. We keep each other in shape!

I currently have a very flexible schedule. I sometimes do part time work as an English teacher trainer and academic writing consultant online--this allows for free time.
