Pet care experience
I love all animals, and dogs hold a special place in my heart above all. I will treat your dog(s) as I would treat my own - I'm generous with ear rubs, back scratches, playtime, and walks (weather permitting, especially during these hot summer months). I'm available for short term stays and long term stays: I've cared for a dog on a Saturday while the family spent the day doing something fun together, and I've cared for a dog as long as three months while the family was out of the country staying with extended family. I don't have a dog of my own, but being around them is such a great source of joy for me. I would be happy to give my undivided attention in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. I do a large portion of my dog sitting regularly through word-of-mouth referrals and recommendations directed to me and Rover stays when I’m able. Dogs have been a welcomed part of my life and have enriched my family for many years. I want to make your dog's stay with me as pleasant and stress-free as possible. Their comfort is my priority. Give me a chance. You won't have to worry about your dog while you're away.

Heidi did a great job with my 3 dogs. They really liked her and were comfortable having her in our home. Her communication was excellent, I felt I was updated just the perfect amount. I have already tried booking with her again and she was already booked. I know why. She was reliable and good with my pups and took care of my home.
First time using Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better person to stay at my house with my 12 yr old dog. Heidi was a great communicator sending me pics and updates. My dog was certainly not stressed that I was gone. :) So happy I found Heidi and highly recommend!
Heidi is awesome! Couldn’t have been a better experience for us all. My pups acted like we’d never even been gone. They were very content and happy.

I would like to know your dog's normal routine. How does your dog behave around other animals and people? I would also like to know of any special dietary needs/instruction, your walking routine, and any other important preferences that would be relevant for making the stay as comfortable as possible for your pet and me. And, of course, please let me know if your dog has any fears (thunder, fireworks, people, other animals, etc) so that I can prepare for those situations if they should arise.
A typical day
I like to explore my neighborhood during walks and the walking paths around nearby neighborhoods. I love dog playtime and would be happy to play fetch or frisbee or catch with your dog. Additionally, if I can take your dog for a walk around one of the many walking paths or parks near your home, I would love to do so. I am also a fan of the dog park - I took my dog there regularly while he was alive and he loved it tremendously - if your dog is properly socialized, has previous experience going to the dog park and you approve, I'd be more than happy to make a dog park stop for some playtime and exploration or perhaps for long walks around one of Little Rock's many walking paths.

Availability
I’m currently working a normal full-time job. I regularly go into the office 5 days/week. If you live close to the midtown hospitals, I can go home to let your pet(s) out during the daytime, and of course weekends, and evenings. Otherwise I am in the office for close to 8 hours a day. If you need someone to let your pet out more often than every eight hours on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, we may not be a great match.
