Pet care experience
Hello, I have worked in the veterinary field for over 17 years, I am currently taking a break from the stressful environment of working in a busy clinic. I still love being around animals so petsitting seemed a natural fit for me. I have two cats who do not get along with dogs, so I would be coming to your home to care for your dog(s) and or cat(s). It is my experience that pets are more comfortable in their own home. You can have the piece of mind that your pets will be safe, comfortable, and well taken care of while you are away.

I would like to know about any medical conditions your pet has, any allergies, special needs or favorite toys/games. Veterinary information in case of emergency, and how the dog does on leash walks and around other animals & people.
A typical day
I love being around animals and particularly enjoy helping them to have a good experience when they can't be with their owners. My home base is Tacoma's north end, I plan three drop in visits a day for dogs and one to two visits a day for cats, depending on the cat, with at least one walk or play/exercise session per day, depending on the pet of course. I'm more than happy to stay overnight at your home, usually I stay over the night and drop in again in the middle of the day. I have experience giving all kinds of medication to both dogs and cats. I can also do any light chores like putting out garbage/recycle, watering plants and bringing in the mail. I would love to schedule a meet & greet to get acquainted.
