Pet care experience
I’ve had a Siberian Husky since I was 12 years old. The only time I wasn’t her primary caretaker was the 4 years I was away at college. I’ve seen her through the puppy phases and grow into a tame napper with bursts of energy from her youth. She lived with my parents when I moved back to the city until she crossed over the rainbow at 15, but I lived with my cousins 11 year old dog before coming to Peoria. I’ve also cared for friends’ pets before. Most notably a pug puppy that eventually moved in with a Chicago Cubs player for two weeks, a dog from Jerusalem with 3 cats and a lizard and a fish for a month, and many of my friends’ animals as well.

Very accommodating for your time and your schedule as well as the care and support and attention that some dogs need especially my 3lb rescue from another country and my time away was spent relaxing knowing that Hector was really the best person for my tiny dogs 🐶 care while I had a short vacation
Hector took amazing care of our dog Paganini, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. He was attentive, responsible, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. He made sure Paganini got his medication on time every day and even surprised him with a new ball! We got regular updates, which gave us total peace of mind. We came home to a happy, healthy pup. We've used Hector twice, and he has been amazing both times for our 3 dogs! He is polite, responsive, and sends the best updates with pics, couldn't ask for a better dog sitter!

I’ve had family pets visit my place and have plenty of room to run around as well as relax. I keep an eye on them to make sure they are happy but also have the place “pet-proofed” if needed to step out. As per house visits I will stick strictly to the instructions left behind by the owner.

If a dog has a special diet or medication needed at certain times I would just need to be aware of that. Also any small quirks that the pet doesn’t like or prefers so as to keep them happy during a visit.
A typical day
I used to take clients to dog-friendly parks in the part of Chicago where I resided. I am looking forward to discovering the gems in Peoria with your pet as well. I will always appreciate a dog’s company and give them the attention they desire while catering to their schedules from home to make them feel comfortable around me or staying with me.

I currently live in downtown Peoria. Depending on your pet’s needs, I am comfortable accommodating the amount of time you’d like me to spend with them, and often have more time at home/able to travel to yours on weekends.
