Pet care experience
I have had animals in my family for as long as I can remember and the list keeps growing!; three dogs, five cats, thirteen alpacas and even a few chickens! My whole life, I was raised and taught to be loving and caring towards animals to the point of it becoming second nature, really - it just comes naturally. I have looked after (and hung out with) pets of all ages and with a variety of health conditions/walking necessities/feeding habits and would feel very confident and (unofficially) qualified in taking care of a dog that would require a little extra love to give you peace of mind. Living away from my animals how I do is tough for me, and with a 17 year old cat my parents probably get fed up when I ask them to give him his extra ham on the side. I know what it is like to leave your friends when you are away from home and I would love to help relieve the stress while also gaining a little comfort myself. Our pets are our family after all.
Reviews
Hector looked after my pug, DC, when I had to go abroad for work. Hector made quite the impression on DC, as he now gets excited every time we walk by his house. Hector also listened carefully to DC’s strict dietary needs and exercise routine. Would recommend highly!
Hector looked after my 2 year old cockerpoo, Brad, for the day on last minute notice after my mother had fallen ill unexpectedly. Brad is a nervous dog and needs medication. Hector dealt with this well and sent me pictures of Brad through out the day to calm my nerves. Would recommend 10/10.
Hector is an animal whisperer! He has cared for our 3 dogs, 6 cats, 13 alpaca and chickens on numerous occasions now. He is very affectionate and responsible with the pets, who are always delighted to see him. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who wants a conscientious sitter/walker. He makes our time apart from our animals stress free, which is huge!

I live in a basement flat with my sister Lilly and our good friend Will. We all have dogs of our own at home with our families and Will is even a wildlife photographer (so if you have a more exotic pet..). The flat has hardwood floors in the main areas and carpeted bedrooms. The flat is open plan so there is little chance of doggy confusion. We also have an outside area with wooden decking, furniture and a few plants. The decking acts as a drainage system and I have absolutely no problem letting your pal use it whenever needed (need I say more). Again, we live in a basement flat and therefore the outside area is below street level with absolutely no way of an escape, even a cat would have a mission on their paws. I would feel completely confident in leaving the door open during the day in the summer if your dog is used to coming in and out as they please. We also allow dogs on the furniture but happy to ask them not to if that's what they're used to!

Availability
I work part-time in Clapham and live here too. I work rota-led shifts and therefore will be making a habit of entering availability every week once notified! From there, I will be happy to take your pup for a walk, offer them some company or offer a nice home away from home for the night!
