Dogs have always been an important part of my life. My family has always had dogs (and many other animals), and I grew up with everything from spaniels and corgis to who knows what mutts, and even a german shepard-coyote hybrid. I've taken care of young puppies who are just learning basic commands, dogs with complicated health needs, and elderly dogs who just need some slow-paced TLC. Between my own dogs, the rescues we've taken in, volunteering at the local humane society, and the many times I've taken care of pets for family and friends, there's not much I haven't seen and dealt with. And I've yet to meet a dog that I didn't get along with. Big and active, small and shy, or anything in between--I'll make friends with your dog and tailor our time together to help them get the most out of it. Is your dog all "go-go-go!" or does he prefer to stop and smell the fire hydrants? Is she a high-energy breed who has to have extra time outside and a faster pace? Is your puppy shy and in need of some socialization, or extremely smart and wanting some new challenges to work on? Whatever their needs, I will do my best to give your dog the best possible experience during our time together.
