Pet care experience
I have owned and taken care of dogs my whole life, always having at least 2 at a time. I have owned all large dogs making me very comfortable with them. I adopted and trained my last dog myself as a puppy so needless to say I have plenty of patience! Also, I work from home so am available during the day to come take care of your best friend! I recently just moved to Ohio having to leave my best friends, my labradoodle and black lab, at home in Maryland with my Dad and miss them like crazy! I have cared for my older dogs, administering medication and providing special treatment, as well as caring for my current black lab who has ADHD needing a lot of energy to be let out. I can assure you I will treat your dog with the love and care as if they were my own and we will have a blast together!

I initially had reservations about using Rover and the thought of allowing a stranger to care for my dog made me somewhat uneasy at the start, but Heather quickly calmed all of those fears with her bubbly nature, friendliness, caring attitude, and knowledge of animal care. My dog immediately bonded with her and now gets excited every time she comes over. As a veterinarian, I can attest to her knowledge of animal behavior, animal handling skills, and love of animals. I cannot say enough good things about her and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an animal caregiver!
Heather is an excellent pet sitter. She consistently shows love and affection to my cuddly dog who tends to have separation anxiety. He has come to love when she comes over to "visit him" and they have become fast friends. I always know that he is in the best hands when Heather is dog sitting for us. You will not be disappointed if you hire her!
I have known Heather for a really long time. She really goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of my pets. She is always attentive to their needs and willing to take them on the extra long walks, or add an extra play session. Her love for animals truly shines through her work. She is adaptable, quick to learn, and an easy person to get along with. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and well qualified pet sitter.

I can walk a provided, preferred route or walk them around the neighborhood or a near trail! Also can do any activities they would like - I chase my black lab around the yard multiple times aimlessly for her to release energy so nothing is off limits!
