Pet care experience
We have a tiny 12 year old chihuahua who loves other dogs to play with. We like to watch dogs because we know how important it is to trust the people around your pet. Our dog is our baby! Everything in our life revolves around having fun with our little guy! Our own pup gets extremely home sick when we travel so we are sensitive to this. Keeping dietary needs regular is so essential for a dog who is out of his or her regular routine; we do not let our dog eat scraps. We own our own business in the area and one of us is always home with the dog! The longest we are away from home is 1-2 hours if there is an errand to run. Our dog Bambi has all his proper vaccinations and is not agressive in any way. Because we are very particular about all dog’s safety, we are ON LEASH ONLY DOG PARENTS. We never make excuses about being off leash, dogs are animals and can get spooked and run away.

Heather has a calm presence, and Bambi is an excited and happy host. My little dog is eager to go inside their home, and mellow when he leaves. There are lots of pottie breaks and snuggle time. Heather has provided doggie daycare and boarding. She is thorough in asking about your dog's particulars are and individual needs. Great host.
Heather is amazing with animals! A true animal lover. You cannot find a better person to care for your loved fur babies! I will continue to use her services in the future.
Heather is a true animal-lover. She is incredibly bright, kind, and gentle. She has watched my Pomeranian, Lily, many times in her own home and Lily has always received the best care. Lily gets along well with Heather’s sweet Chihuahua, Bambi. Lily is a little bossy and Bambi is extremely patient with her. I would absolutely recommend Heather to care for your dog!

We only worry about biting/agressive behavior from your dog. If it is not house broken yet, we need to know so we can make sure we are vigilant with the puppy and keep them from creating bad habits on our watch. (And we do love a few of our rugs!!!)
A typical day
We live in a quiet single family home neighborhood close to a goose pond I often take my dog to walk around and sit with a ball on the bench if it is nice out. Often times we go to quiet towns like Middleburg, Clifton and Purceville to walk around and explore each and every pole, stop sign or fire hydrant; then hang out in the shade with bowls of water under an umbrella and eat dog treats. I only do these trips with permission and when the weather is nice.
