Pet care experience
I’ll start by saying I am 99.9% certain i was a cat in a former life “purrr or rawrr”, either way, I’m all in <3. I have been a licensed VetTech for six years now.. 4 of which have been spent in emergency and critical care at NC STATE and Auburn University, but for the past two years I have worked in the SA oncology department at Auburn. I believe experience is KEY to taking care of your loved ones..“with experience, comes knowledge of even the smallest of things!” Cats and Pups are my thing, but I am also experienced in exotics. We have three spoiled rotten puppers, which is why “in home stays” are a no-go (sadly). I’d love to help you out in your time of need, and get to know your furry family.

I first met Heather while working with her at a Veterinary Specialty Clinic and when I had to go out of town she was my first choice to ask to watch my dogs. She came and let my dogs out 2-3 times a day and spent time with them each day, instead of just coming and leaving immediately. My dogs always love to see her!
Heather is the best sitter we've ever had, hands down. My family has a small zoo of critters, including cats, dogs, snakes, lizards, and fish, and she was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure they were well taken care of in our absence. Our oldest dog was actually going through chemotherapy at one point, which comes with a lot of different medications, behavior monitoring, and occasional accidents in the house. Having experience in veterinary medicine, Heather was able to give him hospital quality care at home, which was invaluable to us as pet parents. Heather was always reliable, communicated with us regularly including pictures, and showed our pets as much love as we do. We, unfortunately, had to move away and our pets definitely miss their time with her! I can not recommend her more!
I can't recommend Heather enough! She is always so attentive to our pets, will take our dogs on walks, sit with our cats and play with them, etc. We have dogs, cats, fish, and several species of reptiles. She is extremely reliable and always gets back to us quickly if we're in a pinch. I also feel more at ease when leaving Heather in charge of our pets knowing that she is a veterinary technician. She treats our pets just like she would her own!
