Animal rescuer turned sitter!
Pet care experience
Volunteering in animal shelters, fostering, and independent animal rescue work has given me years of experience in animal behavior and care. I live on a 7 acre rural homestead with lots of room to walk dogs. We do not have a fence so visiting dogs will always be on leash. I have a large room set aside as my petsitting room so that your pet can move around freely and we can have plenty of room to play and snuggle. My personal pets love other animals and are always up to date on vetting, so if they are compatible, they are more than welcome to romp and play with my fun crew! I currently work from home as a part time tutor and homesteader, so I am available to give your pets all the attention they need. Pet care is personalized. I will discuss your animals’ needs with you and we will determine what will work best for them in the way of living and sleeping arrangements. I’m very flexible and want what is best for your fur baby.

I actually have not seen Bella that ecit
We love having our boy stay with Heather when we’re away. As soon as he sees her his tail starts wagging! She has a lot of experience with dogs and doesn’t mind giving him his meds. She even sends us pictures during his stay. We like knowing he’s safe, well taken care of, and happy.
My husband and I felt as if our dog was well taken care of. We will definitely ask for Heather again
Heather was a very gracious host to our two dogs. This was our first Rover.com experience. Traveling in our camper but wanted to get to New Orleans. Our dogs were safe and well cared for while we enjoyed NOLA. Heather is very convenient to Paul B Johnson state park and would recommend her services for others. We got back early enough that she allowed us to pick our dogs up before boarding the second night. We appreciated the flexibility.

My dogs are friendly and love guests. They provide company and distraction for boarders. We have acreage and go for long walks which often soothes nervous pups. I am happy to allow clients to stay in their crate, sleep beside my bed, in my bed with us, or on the floor in the front room if they would prefer some quiet time. Our home has different areas that enable me to separate dogs as needed.

Let me know of any allergies or problems with food. Behavioral issues such as fear aggression or toy aggression do not mean that your fluffer cannot stay with me - I have alot of experience with behavioral issues - but I do need to know beforehand in order to provide a safe environment for them and for my pack. I also need emergency contact numbers.
A typical day
Game time is a favorite of my pack. They love their puzzles! They also really enjoy their peanut butter kong time. Going for walks down our dirt road is always fun.

Availability
Pet care is already a staple in my daily life. I'm a nurturer by nature, so I'm early to rise to care for the creatures in my home on 2 legs and 4! Dogsitting is my main job. I also drive for delivery services and sometimes tutor or teach online. All of those jobs enable me to be at home a lot to care for the animals and humans who need me.
