Hello, I’m Heather. I joined RoverGO because I want to build more connections with dogs. I was in the military and still like to stay very active. Having a canine by my side always makes a walk or run 10 times better. I think the way you treat a dog really defines how they see you and interact with you. You have to respect a pup for them to respect you back. I love that every pooch has such a unique personality and that they adore you unconditionally. I really cherish how playful and full of energy dogs are—I’ve never been around a pup and not had a great time! I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently have an Australian Shepherd / Border Collie mix who is full of energy! His name is Zeke and I love having him as a part of my family. I have been pet sitting for about 10 years now, caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. My first memory of a pup was my black lab, Skip. He was full of energy and almost as big as me! From that moment, I’ve been a true dog person. Skip taught me about responsibility and accountability. I live in West Nashville near a ton of parks and other great outdoor spots. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but other than that, I have a lot of free time on weekends and afternoons throughout the week. I also love taking walks on my lunch break every day!
