Pet care experience
I have three years of experience as a veterinary assistant and am currently a vet student at UTCVM and would love to help you care for your fur baby! I’ve worked with all kinds of animals since I was a kid. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for cats, exotic pets such as reptiles and small animals, and farm animals. I also feel comfortable administering medications if necessary and am professionally trained in CPR.

Heather was an excellent cat sitter. We received updates everyday and came home as if nothing had happened, both cats happy, clean, and well fed.
Heather did a great job taking care of my two kitties while I was out of town for a week. I was extra comfortable leaving them in her care because of her experience as a vet assistant/vet student, especially since one of my cats can have some GI issues. She was great about monitoring the situation and sent informative updates and cute pictures!
Loved having Heather care for my two cats! She was caring and attentive and highly communicative and responsible. Definitely would use her again and recommend her to others. She’s great to look after beloved pets when you’re away!
Heather is a treasure. She cared for my 21 year old cat while I was on vacation. She was very communicative, efficient, and professional. I have 4 pets and my cat was the only who stayed home for his care this trip and I have no doubt that he received the best care of all. Im so grateful ? ?

I want your dog to feel comfortable and cared for, so I’ll care for them in the way they prefer. Whether that’s a certain toy they love or enrichment activities at feeding times, I’m happy to do it!

I’m currently in school full time, but am able to do quick stops during the week, or longer stops/walks during the weekend and holidays! I’m very willing to work with you on what schedule would work best for your pets!
