Pet care experience
Tho I have loved and cared for various family dogs over the years, I take pride in the years I have spent caring for our canine family members when they became older. The level of care and attention needed to ensure their health, safety and happiness can sometimes be tedious but I feel these are the the very times when we have the opportunity to really honor them and the time, love and joy they have share with us over the years. Be it making sure they can navigate areas in the house or outside for safe play, making sure their dietary needs are met and extra levels of attentiveness and patience. I do enjoy ALL stages of canine/pet care, but it is a special privilege to be of support in late adult dogs/pets.

Heather is an incredible pet lover. I've seen her interact with animals that are skittish around people instantly. And the Love and care I've seen her bestow on her own Dog is second to none. Her little pup was essentially a part of her at a core level. and that kind of connection definitely starts from having a great soul, that resonates with animals. I would Let Heather look after ANY pet I have or will ever have.
Heather has unending kindness and compassion for all animals, but I have especially seen her dedication to caring for animals with her dog, Ella, as well as her mom's dogs, Angel and Buster. Specifically, Heather went above in beyond in taking care of Ella by having her on a schedule for her medication, feeding, and bathroom usage, which often came at the expense of having to rearrange her work schedule to accommodate Ella's needs. There is no person I would trust more with my dog than her.

At this time I do not provide care for client's pets at my home. However with regards to the care needed for each individual animal, they vary depending on the client's requests and the pets needs. Sometimes dogs can be prone to chewing furniture/destructive behavior or do to their size can necessitate designated areas for play and relaxing while their parents are at work, this and other possible cautions or concerns are important topics of conversation for the initial visits so that I can not only keep your animal safe and happy, but also make sure your needs are met with regards to your property and home.

A typical day
Walks and backward play are always great energy outlets but this can vary greatly depending on your dog's needs as there may be seeing, hearing or mobility issues and sometimes mental decline or insecurities in some of our older or more emotionally needy companions. This may necessitate milder stimulation with more physical contact/verbal reassurance to let them know they are not alone and that someone who cares is nearby.

I am a former business owner who just like many suffered major devastation in the loss of my business due to covid shut downs and am trying to utilize my strong suits and passions to regain footing and begin again. Because my business is art based I am currently very available (Tues-Sat) to care for your pet and adjust my schedule accordingly.
