WFH Denver Dog Mom

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Heather. I have a mini sheepadoodle named Kitty who is my life. She is the first dog I’ve had since a puppy, but I previously had an Old English Sheepdog from the time she was 4, so I have experience with both puppies and slightly more mature dogs. Kitty has had some tough times adjusting to staying with sitters, so I understand and appreciate the importance of taking care of your pup like they’re my own and giving them all the love and attention that they need.

Heather was a great rover! She provided consistent updates and always looked like Mowgli was having a great time. Really appreciate all the help. Will reach out again the future. Thanks!

Heather is such an amazing sitter, I am so grateful to have found her and her dog Kitty! Heather is incredibly thoughtful before and throughout the stay - she asked great questions to make sure my dog stayed with his normal routines. She also provided awesome updates each day that made being away much easier. Thank you Heather!

My pup had a great time staying with Heather. She asked lots of questions to make sure my pup would be comfortable and I received lots of updates throughout

Heather did a great job managing my high-anxiety dog and staying in communication as needed.

Information Heather S. would like to know about your pet

I live in an INCREDIBLY busy apartment building and there is a 100% chance we will run into multiple people and multiple dogs on any given day, including in small spaces like an elevator. If your dog is triggered by people or other dogs, this may not be a great fit.

A typical day

Our day normally starts with an early morning walk followed by breakfast and some morning play time. While I’m working the doggos usually just relax but I take frequent breaks to sneak a quick walk in. The dogs also have access to my balcony where they can get some fresh air and look out and supervise the neighborhood (don’t worry-it is safe). After work we usually go for a longer walk or to the park to get some exercise.
