Pet care experience

I have always had a love for animals. I have had dogs and cats since I was a young child and a farm animals since I was 9 years old. I was a 4-h er and learned how to train and take care of animals. I have worked as a veterinary technician for 20 years. I have a small farm with cows, pigs, sheep,and chickens. I also train show and compete with my Labradors.

Heather and her family were fabulous. She took great care of my newest member of our family. Kita slept like a baby when she got home, which says fresh air and fun was had by all. She gave our girl her new nickname "the Queen of the couch", love it!! Thanks!!!

Our dogs are a part of our family and get to enjoy our home freely when we are home. Visiting dogs and our young dogs are kenneled when I am not home. They get out for a good play in the morning 30-40 minutes from 5:30am until 6:15 they get feed breakfast and out side for a potty break befor work. They have hours of free time after I get home until bedtime. Dogs are feed dinner around 6:30-7pm and put to bed at 9-9:30pm. Some dogs sleeping kennels and some in the bedroom.

A typical day

We play fetch and find in the fields. We also take dogs that enjoy the water to swim in the river we do keep them on a 20 foot leash to keep them safe. We have a swimming pool at home and sprinklers to play in on hot days.

I do still work as a veterinary technician part time. I enjoy getting the dogs out for exercise befor and after work. I take the dogs out in the field to get a good run in or play fetch if that is what they like.
