Pet care experience
Being a dog owner myself, I know the importance of having a reliable, trustworthy and consistent dog-walker. I travel for work so my schedule is a little crazy at times -- I can relate to the nervousness that comes when leaving your pet in the care of someone else. From one dog owner to another, believe that I'll love and care for your dog like they were my own! Philadelphia is a fun, dog-loving city and I can't wait to meet your furry friend! My schedule can be a little but of a mixed-bag but usually the hours you need are the hours I'm around! I'm fairly flexible with my booking (last minute is usually okay!) and cancellation policy. Please describe your dog's temperament. When they go for walks do they tug at the leash? Does your dog respond to basic commands? Is friendly sniffing of other dogs during a walk a no-no? Is your dog active and playful or cool, calm and chill?
A typical day
I currently reside in the NoLibs/Fishtown area. I know all of the good dog spots (Penn Treaty Park, Palmer Doggie Depot, Oriana Dog Park) and enjoy walking my own pup through Old City and Fairmount! My best friend, Huckleberry Finn, is a pit-mix and has been faithfully by my side for almost 6 years. I have experience with both dog walking/sitting and house sitting -- taking care of puppies to older dogs with disabilities. Your dog can expect lots of love and attention, just like my own four-legged friend!
