CERTIFIED THERAPY DOG HANDLER!

Pet care experience

**PLEASE NOTE:** -CRATE-TRAINED DOGS ONLY -HOUSE-TRAINED DOGS ONLY -I require a meet & greet before any doggy daycare visits -I require a booked/paid doggy daycare visit before any overnights -I require a booked/paid overnight before any extended stays -NO EXCEPTIONS ************* I am currently a certified therapy dog handler with two of my own 70lb mixed-breed working dogs (mostly golden/collie/german shepherd). We do work with special needs patients in-home as well as at school, advanced care facilities & college visits. I was raised on a farm handling many dogs of all different breeds & sizes, and have experience with livestock as well. I am a firm believer in alpha/pack training & calm-assertive approach to management of pets (and most animals, for that matter!) We live across the street from an enormous park with trails and beaches- dogs who stay with me are so ridiculously spoiled! I occasionally have cats also in my place, but as I mentioned- I’m very experienced with all types of animals so you don’t need to worry if you’re not sure whether your dog likes cats or not. I am a pro at introducing/managing them all (as you’ll see by my profile pictures!) FURmilies who use my services get not only quality, experienced and very attentive pet care, but the huge advantage of free training with each visit! I make my own schedule as I have a small, part-time organizing business on the side- so I am home most of every day to care for your babes! No one ever goes more than 4 hours without seeing me, but even that is rare as I try to schedule my biz clients on off-days when I’m not boarding pets. I have a large loft with an up and downstairs, so lots of space. I am also at ground level across the street from huge parks and beaches, and I have a rooftop dog run overlooking Puget Sound- it is a pet wonderland over here! I try not to be away from home much when I am boarding pets, but if I need to be, your pet must be ok in its own separate room (if it is older or well-trained) or in kennel (if it is young and still in training) for its own safety! NO EXCEPTIONS. Similar rules will apply if I’m visiting your home as well. Safety for everyone is first and foremost…we can review details when services get established.

I can’t think of or recommend a better person to watch your furry friend. Our puppy loves going to hang out with her and always comes home full of joy.

Heather is amazing as usual. Our pup is healing from some things so we gave her a heads up and she was more than happy to help take care of her when my wife and I couldn’t watch her. She took extra care to make sure our puppy kept is nice and slow and continued her healing. It’s fantastic know we can trust someone so much with our little fur baby.

Heather is amazing, she has taken care of Figaro as if he was her own. She has helped with training and provided us tips to reinforce at home. Our little one waits for her by the door to go on walks with her. Could not recommend enough!

Heather was fantastic with our pup. When we picked her up, she was happy and tired in the best possible way. Heather kept us updated on how she was doing and made sure we we got regular videos and pictures too.

Availability

I own a small part-time business on the side and make my own schedule, so my dog guests rarely go more than 3 hours without seeing me! If I need to do a stint for a work client, I usually do it around lunchtime/early afternoon once I’ve fed & exercised the dogs in the morning so they can nap while I’m away. When I return, the fun begins again!
